Trials of Osiris: The Revamp Begins Destiny Dev Team As announced in the Destiny 2 Showcase, we have some changes planned for Trials of Osiris. The devs have already said that they'll begin removing Bright Engram loot boxes when the game's tenth season starts next week. ![]() Season of the Worthy doesn't end until June 9th, so it's likely we'll see Bungie sharing another calendar of events closer to the time. Later in April and May, there's the Grandmaster Ordeal and the free Guardian Games, along with another Seraph Bunker. Seasonal gear mods will also be available to all players who upgrade the Warmind Khanjali. Season Pass owners will also have access to a new Exotic questline, new Rasputin challenges every week, and new triumphs, bounties, and Seasonal lore books. If you don't feel like putting in too much effort, both of these are immediately available to anyone who buys the Season Pass for 1000 Silver in-game. There's new free seasonal rewards: ranking up unlocks the Seventh Seraph Seasonal armour set and the Exotic Tommy's Matchbook Auto Rifle. Players have to be at least Power level 960 to take part, and are rewarded with Pinnacle gear for multiple consecutive wins. The ultimate companion for D2s Trials of Osiris. Bungie has effectively spelled all this out, but if you missed it, I wouldn’t blame you, so here you go.įollow me on Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. And this is how Trials suddenly become one of the most rewarding activities in the game, when previously it was one of the least. But if you can forgo the chance at Adept loot, and your main goal is to simply get as much Trials “stuff” as possible, getting a card to seven wins and staying on it the whole weekend is the way to go, as rewards will increase significantly from there, both in terms of engrams and endgame materials. In short, the only reason you would ever reset your card after 7 wins is if your main goal is to go Flawless. I will admit that matches post 7 wins seem harder than those down below it, and yet I do feel like this is because a number of newer players might be resetting their card instead of farming at 7 wins. In contrast, if you reset your card, all you’re dong is losing all your rep snowball gains, and taking away that chance at extra loot. But even on a normal card, even if you’re like 7-50, getting additional wins at 7 wins will get you core and prisms, but also occasionally full Trials engrams and full Ascendant Shards. On a Flawless card, each additional win without a loss can get you additional Adept weapon drops. ![]()
